From open days on farms where you can see a working farm in action to local village and town shows where rural crafts are demonstrated the Brecon Beacons will keep you entertained and informed. You can also see local rural skill competitions at various times of the year – stone wall competitions and hedge-laying can all be seen plus the ever popular sheep dog trials.

Village and town shows are also where farmers bring their pedigree livestock to show off and horse riders show off their skills in competitions.
